Tooth Whitening Update
Over-the-counter Tooth Whitening products.
- Beware these products.
- Trading Standards found 18 out of 20 recently tested DIY kits contained illegal levels of hydrogen peroxide.
- EU report states levels greater than 6% hydrogen peroxide is harmful for patients to apply to their own teeth. Peroxide levels of 0.1 and 6% are not without risk either.
